Hello Blogosphere

As an avid blog reader and sometime commenter I have often wittered to my long suffering family and friends about how I would one day have my own blog. Now, largely thanks to my gorgeous and super-intelligent daughter - and Bravenet, we have this one. So blame Pippa at Blackorchids666 for any intellectual damage you might suffer on these pages. I will try to refrain from mirroring material from the sites on my blogroll, so expect only the occasional rant on politics, amateur philosophy and very annoying social phenomena. I'll bet you can barely contain yourselves in anticipation of the next thrilling installment....
